Another Amp wiring question

I'm planning to install an amp(kicker zx400.1) and a sub on my HHR.

Is it ok if I use the inputs from the stock sub as inputs for the amp? Should I use something else?

ask cj what he did on his, i believe that he used the inputs to the sub, then ran them into a line convertor and ran ran the rca's from there.
