base stereo system question

if i have the base system, not the "upgraded" pioneer one, the base one doesnt have a sub or amp right? just the stock head unit and door speakers? so if i upgrade the radio, there is no bypassing any stock amps or subs or anything like that?

No sir. You need a Pioneer XM module, and you may be able to transfer your subscription to that.

Pioneer AVIC-Z110

6th Ave. electronics has the z110 on sale for $799.98 after a $200 rebate.
That's the cheapest I've ever seen it.
