Cell Phone in HHR
My car has OnStar. Is there any way to connect my personal cell phone to the stereo or OnStar so that it will utilize the microphone and speakers in the car? There must be some device to do this.

If your phone has bluetooth just get a bluetooth headset. Some cell phone makers sell car kits which would allow it to be wired to the car. The aftermarket car kits are not worth it. Trust me from Experience. I will post pictures of the install that I did on my focus.

First Off I used a VSM (Vehicle Specific Mount) www.pro-fit-intl.com I checked and they do not have a mount that is made for the HHR. But you contact them to find out. A normall install at Verizon Wireless would use a goosneck which would be drilled on the passanger side floor to reach the shifter area. A profit mount is a custom mount for the car which would require no drilling expect behind the radio area. Since there was room behind the radio I was able to place the speaker box. However you can connect to the car's speakers, but it could void the warranty. The Mic I placed above the visor. The Blackbox is behind the passanger floor. Instead of wireing to the battery I went to the fuse box. I was able to get constant power from the cig lighter fuse.
