Dvd Player In Headrest......

There is a site that has OEM hhr headrest dvd/tv players built into the headrest. THAT would be an awesome mod. The KIDS would love it. If anyone has any good info on DVD systems installed(not the hang on the back of the seat with 1000 cords eveywhere) let me know.....

Thanx CH! I just saved that link in my favorites. I want to install some headrest monitors in my 05 Suburban. But that project has to wait until I'm done with my current one...

Now does anyone know where you can get some decent monitors at a reasonable price?

Now does anyone know of a decent monitor at a reasonable price that doesn't require a currency exchange?

You'll find that most monitors are all the same on the inside. Just a different name on the outside. There's only like 3 companies in the world that make the actual screen portion, and they just sell the screens to whoever wants them and put their name on them.

***WARNING, THE ONLINE STORE BELOW HAS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!***

I bought all my stuff from http://www.etronics.com. Great prices, just very poor customer service when it comes to delivery. Even though their site says "in-stock" that really doesn't mean anything. It took me about a month to receive my monitors, yet they had no problem charging my credit card right away.

I purchased all XO-Vision equipment, and it came to right around $400 for two dual source 7" monitors, 1/2 DIN DVD Player, and wireless dual source RF headphones.

I've been wanting to try this but I'm afraid of messing up my headrests. I wonder if I can get extra HHR headrests now? Does anyone know the optimal size monitor for the headrests?

That's a good looking install, EZ. Did you do that yourself? If so, did you follow any of the methods described above or did you just wing it?
