Good to know, and nice for those folks who have XM equipped HHR's without active subscriptions, you can try out the service before laying out some cash.
*If you are new to XM, study the plans and prices carefully, then call 'em up and speak to a supervisor, there are some "deals" you can only get by talking to a real live person.

Not even sure how to use the xm radio hope to find out tomorrow
They also have an offer for 6 months for I think $25.00
Of.course I think.it makes more.sense.to plug.in your Droid.or.iPhone
And use slacker radio or Pandora
But it will be nice to try out the satellite radio

I just went out and turned the radio on and poked the (i) button but it said there was no ‘info’ so I poked another button and it said XM feature but I have no idea what to do to make the XM go from there.
Any ideas?
I had an XM radio in my ‘92 Grand Am but it was an aftermarket unit and was dirt simple to use. You just poked the I/O button to turn it on and if you didn’t like that station you poked the up or down arrow till you found something you could tolerate.
One fine day I decided I could no longer afford the service so I sold the radio.

Kev and Grizzly, use the "BAND" button on your head units to go to the XM frequencies, then use the tuning knob to go to XM channel 1.
If no XM channels are displayed or you get the "XM Feature" message, you have an XM capable head unit but no XM receiver module installed on your vehicle.
Another quick check to see if you have XM installed is to look at your build tag in the glove box for option U2K, or look for the antenna at the rear of the roof above the hatch.
