This looks perfect Just what I was looking for I can see where I would need to reinforce it but the price is good and it looks like it will be easy for my wife to use.
Thanks for the research. Great find.
I wont be able to get my wife to come after I fix up her HHR.

Haha, well I am sorry then if she will not come for you. And the reinforcements should be cake, just get a plate that spans about a foot wide, and as tall as the console and it should be fine. ( I want to do something similar in mine for my log reports for work) and this is a good reliable company that stands behind the product. And the shipping SAYS 4-7 days, and its usually the earlier, not the latter.

Check out http://www.mobiledesk.com/index.htm . I have a Laptop mount in mine, got from a company that is out of business now, but these seem similar. you can check my gallery for pics of my mount, no drilling required. Bolts onto the seat rails.

no problem knelson. I also believe that the stand is removable too, so if you want to take it out for a passenger to sit there, you can, without much hassle. :)

I have looked for one that mounts to the seat rails and I have not found one If anyone knows of a company that sells one for the HHR still, I would rather buy one that doesn't require
drilling thrugh my wifes HHR But so far, I like the one the Mounts to the center console
However I would have take it apart to find out what kind of clearance we have for the plate
and bolt heads etc.

Jim Z Thank you for the web site they seem to have some products that would work for my wife without mounting anything any where which would be ideal I will check with the wife but I think some off these products will be essential for her. Thanks again for everyones help.

Glad I could help. If you have any other ideas like this or need some sort of odd or end for inside, give me a PM and I will see if I can help you some how.
