U need to put in a couple 6.5s in that cubby pocket, face speakers as my boss calls them. That way you don't have the lid lookin vanilla in the middle of the dash

I went to Harbor Freight today and grabbed a spraygun for the contact cement. Way too hot out to do the headliner, over 100 today and humid. But I am ready to do it as soon as it drops a few degrees.

Still trying to come up with some kind of a design for doing an embossed effect. I may just have a gruesome type scene airbrushed on it. Or a combo of embossed and airbrushed. Not sure.

I grabbed 3 new 8" buffing wheels while I was there and got myself an Air Eraser Kit. Looks like an air brush, but uses white aluminum oxide powder as a sandblaster of sorts. You can etch glass or clean parts. Gonna try it out on my Blower Polishing project, and see what it does in the hard to reach areas.

Hows your project coming along?

nice! good luck on the HL. post pics!

i dont really work on it during the week. short on money until i get paid next friday, so ill work with the wood i have until then. im still catching up on bills that i got behind on when i was laid off a few months ago for a while.

anyways, i did order 4 12" Eminence delta mids...tested on my receiver in the house....LOUD...on no power....they're gonna see 400+w EACH in the hhr... few weeks ill order the 8 8's as well, those will see around 200-225w each.

heres a sneak peak. 1x 12 and 2x 8's per front door, and 1x 12 and 2x 8's behind each front seat. 12 mids in total, and about 3400w rms total. 8 bullet tweeters as well (2 per door and 2 behind each seat) with about 125w rms each tweeter. should get loud :)

this is the 12. its huge. and loud. ima be deaf, thats for sure!
