Question Horn Circuit question

Realize the horn has a conservative 10 amp fuse, on 18 ga wire.

But is anything else associated on this horn circuit, that would draw amps ??

Like the Brake light circuit......or ??

Horn sounds

I like the sound of my aftermarket dual horns, and followed advice in this forum on which ones to get. I would have tried to salvage old Cadillac horns if there was a consensus that they sounded better. Has anyone who has heard both care to comment on the difference? Clearly, ANY good quality dual horn will sound significantly better than the wimpy single horn, which is the only thing sold with the HHR. This is one of many places where GM extracted cost savings!

Not 2, but thinking 3 horns..With two, you don't get a chord, it's an interval.

Doctuh- I appreciate your reply to my PM about how Good your dual horns sound. I believe you..
I am just gonna try to stick with my formula I have been using on my trucks for a couple decades now..

I just needed to research the HHR horn circuit, to better understand the alarm, lights, & etc. + any association with the horn(s)..

I don't have them, Yet.

But a Train Horn sure would get cell phone users and make up artists attention on the road as they are driving.

They are on my list of HHR Mods, lower on it, but on it.
