Thats the thing my soon to be wife got it for me and her parents own a chevy dealership. So I'm sure they did pay a lot for it. The part # is gmln21400 (non xm radio) and gmln21600 (xm radio). I would call your local dealer and ask for price of the unit and install. They may ask or say there is no such thing but tell them it is throught ADI and they should be able to find it for you.

Well its been a while but I got time to start putting the ipod interface in. I'm taking pics as I go but most will look like the how-to socalhhr's has on thier site for taking out the stock radio so I'll post the pics that show the install after that.
P.S. Thanks to the guys over at socalhhr.com for the how-to. It helped a lot!

Just checked with my buddy who's a Chevy dealers parts manager today. He says it should be out in a week or two. There was some initial problems that caused the delay. His dealer price is around $115 and retails for around $150. No picture was available but the kit does come with owner's manual. He has one on order for me to try out. I'll let you know when I get it installed.

We have ours installed, it's a little awkward to control the iPod after you are used to the simplicity of the iPod's own interface. Other than that, there is an engine whine at higher volumes, but I'm hoping that working with the dealership we can get that fixed.

What did it cost you? Did you install it yourself?

Sorry

I've been a little busy (just got engaged lots of planning) I have mine installed but the module that came with it was bad so it never worked. Took pics, but they didn't turn out well. Just waiting on ADI to send me new parts. Than I'll be rocking out to ever STYX song ever recorded!

Just got a call from my buddy at the GM Parts Department... all iPod interface is on recall. GM hopes to start shipping again "soon."
