I would recommend that for new users sit in your drive way and learn about the system. It's not a plug-n-go! Try to figure out how to navigate the iPod via radio down a dark interstate on my daily drive to work isn't all that safe.

I just installed mine, took about 30 minutes....

Do no pay to have this installed, it is VERY easy to install with just a few hand tools.

I'm way past the ipod stage. I have a Zune now. I suppose the PAL doesn't work with that now does it??????

From reading through the thread it sounds like this is compat with the 2006 LT's as well? I checked my glove box and have a US9 Model (premium w/ subwoofer) system.. Just wanted to confirm you with guys before putting in my order. Thanks!

Yes it will work in the 06. I had one put in my 06 with eh premium 7 speaker system.

I was just quoted $159 for the part, and then 3 1/2 to 4 hours for install! I think that I might very well do it myself, as that is frankly daylight robbery! It's not like I'll have XM either!

Anybody that had a dealer install tell me how much it cost all-in?

The interface was $159.00 and $80.00 for install took less than 1 hour.

Mine took about 3 hours to install by dealer... it was their first and they didn't know about the Tech II programming requirement for XM radios until I told them.

Zune

Ok, so there is a that the Zune will work in a 07 LT HHR? What else would I need ?
Also , need some speaker replacements besides the: Audiobahn AS65Q 6.5" (not seeing vendors selling anymore)
