I just got a 2010 HHR LT with the most basic headunit. I already had the door speakers replaced and now I'm looking to add a sub that doesn't take up much space. I'll be changing to an aftermarket HU this week after I order the GMOS-LAN-03 thing. I wasn't exactly stoked to find that I'd have to buy a $100+ kit to install my headunit.
I have an extra gmos lan 4 make me an offer,... Make that an Gmos-LAN 03 just looked it up they want 100.00 for one Looks like this. Right one ??

But now that I'm looking at it, do you just let it wobble around in there or is it secured somehow?

when the rear plastic cover is put on....nothing "wobbles" around at all....mine is as tight as can be....no wobbling around.
