I have a stock head unit pushing 2 amps in the back. One amp is for the front doors and sub and a smaller amp is for the rear doors.

Cool!

I'm thinking about replacing my door speakers as well. I would like to get some amps but I'd want them underneath the seats. Does it seem possible?

Thanks

Blue

There is probably room under the rear seat. I used the storage tray above the spare tire to house mine. After all the stuff I did to mine I still think the sound deadening made the biggest difference.

Pioneer AVH-P4200DVD...several of the members here have this unit installed (including me). Love it. I do not have steering wheel controls in my HHR, so I can't help with that.

I was def thinking about the 4200 pioneer because after replacing my stock speakers with these jl i need more sound. Its just not loud. And ideas open to any suggestions on creating a system.Still thinking about putting a jl w3 8 inch sub. Also any way i could keep my steering wheel controls?
