installed jl in the doors

I would agree Lars, I have replaced everything...but did not go with the dynomat. Need to do that. Have Alpine headunit, alpine type R components in the front and type r's in the rear doors, amps on the back seats, positioned to so they can be up or down, the sound deadening is a must I believe! I was def thinking about the 4200 pioneer because after replacing my stock speakers with these jl i need more sound. Its just not loud. And ideas open to any suggestions on creating a system.Still thinking about putting a jl w3 8 inch sub. Also any way i could keep my steering wheel controls?
The 4200 will make ur new speakers sound alot better than the stock head unit is doing now.
I suggest getting maybe a 4ch amp though, and using the front channels to power the new speakers, and bridge channel 3 and 4 to power your 8" sub when you decide to add that.

Yeah I think the roof is a weak spot, I dont have a huge system and I can clearly see it has a lot of movement when I crank it. I may do mine too at some point. The rear hatch and quarters could use some too as they have a lot of rattles.
