installing factory sub

installing factory sub

does anybody know about adding factory sub to stereo system. what wiring is there and do i need to add any. i bought factory box with speaker and amp. but haven,t received yet . want get what else i need

I'm pretty sure there is no wiring at all going to the stock sub location, if you didn't get the premium system (Please correct me if I'm wrong). In my opinion, you would be much better off to install your own sub and amp. The results wouldn't be worth the effort, if you install the factory sub.

Hello,
I bought a fatory Sub/amp/speaker too. I was luckey enough to have the connectors with a foot of wires (colored) to help me. Will install this summer.

You need these two wire diagrams.

Short ver: You need to route your speaker wires to your new stock amp and the amp out to back to your speakers.

As PanelNV said its much easyer to ad a aftermarket amp.
