Location for switches

I found a spot to add a couple of switches (to be used for horn and ?)

[IMG][/IMG]

Who needs a light to tell me that a passanger is sitting in the front seat?
I left it plugged in behind the dash. Used a piece of 1/2 plywood, filed down the ends so the threads on the switch would stick through a little, then used sheet metal pan head screws to hold it in place. Best of all, no permanet changes made, so I can easily revert back to stock if I want to.

The location is pretty smooth but I know there are alot of switches out there that would look better than those toggles.IMO..

I know. It kind of gives it that raw, racing edge. The reason I had to use them is I wanted a single pole double throw switch that was center off, constant on, and momentary for the other side. Naturally, for my other SPDT switch, it had to match. I may move them under the steering column and get something more fitting the HHR interior.

My car(s) are always a 'work in progress'

I kept it plugged in to avoid an error codes and hid it behind the dash. I dont really need to see the light telling me that a passanger is sitting in the seat and the air bag is active
