Look to swap to aftermarket 2DIN multimedia head unit
Hello to all. Just looking for info about change my stock head unit to some multimedia center with Navi. Maybe it is already discussed but Im not able to find answers exactly. Sorry for few stupid questions:
1. Is that correct that any standard 2DIN head unit will fit HHR mounting place?
2. Do I need any Dash kits to get it to perfect view?
3. Do I need GMOS-LAN-04 if I not have OnStar but have Premium Pioneer Sound?
4. Is any experience exists to install european head units to US HHR? (Special question for european residents-HHR owners) What adapters possible needs?
Thank you for attention. It will be very helpful for me.

I had installed a JVC NX 7000 with removable monitor panel,it has navigation dvd and the other usual features, they used a dash kit and -LAN-04.The unit I have is for Europe with all the appropriate maps and the different frequencies that we use over here and everything works fine and also the steering wheel controls, chimes etc. While they were working on the car I also had the rear park sensors installed.

1. Yes any 2-Din will fit
2. you will need a dash kit for a double din mount
3. all I know is that the LAN-04 integrates the factory amp if you dont want to use it, dont worry about getting the LAN-04
4. I do not know
