That I would do is try to make it more of a stock look would be makeing a chrome outline around the display. I think if you blend it in the dash around the screen it would give it that more stock look

What I'm going to do is take the trim off of the screen, and mold it into the trim on the dash kit, so it looks stock. A little bondo and a lot of sanding and painting, but it'll look nice :)

I like it! You should put the HHR inside the bowtie like in my avatar.

If so I can make some better ones...

No pics yet, but almost have everything done.

All the wires are ran for everything. The computer is installed where the spare tire was (gonna have to find a new home for that).

-the monitor cables are ran behind the radio
-speaker wires are ran behind the radio to connect up to the amp
-the 4-channel usb hub is installed in the glove box

Only thing left to do is

-mount the screen
-connect the amp
-run the usb for the wireless network adapter (haven't decided where to put this yet)
-run the wiring for the external DVD drive (will do that when I get the proper connections)
-run the wiring for the external hard drive (once again, when I get the proper connections- already have an internal hard drive so this can wait a bit)

I'll be sure to take some pictures either tomorrow or Wednesday, when I plan to finish everything up.

UPDATE:

Pretty much finished with everything. Screen came out ok, gonna get another screen housing and dash kit and mold them together for a nicer look...but it looks ok for the time being.

Here are the pics:

Here's the motherboard, hard drive, power supply, and amplifier (bottom left corner) installed. The wireless adapter is also installed behind the quarter panel.

USB Hub installed in the glovebox

Monitor install, like I said I'm going to mold it into the dashkit for a little cleaner look.

Screen on with Centrafuse front end program running

Acquiring connection for wireless internet

I've still got a few things left- mounting external hard drive case, mounting DVD drive in center console, adding GPS and Sirius...more will be done in the next few weeks.
