Ok so how does this look?

I bought 3 sets of door speakers and 2 subs, but kept returning them...this is what I finally settled on. They should go well with the above "vintage" electronics.

I have the same Infinity 6022I door speakers and power them with an Alpine 50x50. They sound awesome. I use them in all four doors.
I also use the factory sub box which needs badly needs a different sub to replace the cheap one I have. I would really like to know what you think of the Kicker. It is one the sub's I have been looking at for a replacement.

Got the door speakers in today...nice difference so far. Tomorrow I tackle the sub and maybe the amp situation?

Well...no joy on the Sub so far. I must have hooked something up wrong or my crossover is not working, but by the time my wife got fed up with me working on it last night I was at a standstill. Hopefully tonight I can get it going.

OK...I have some boom now. The shallow mount kicker 8" in the stock box with about 4 ounces of polyfill stuffed in there works great for me. The stock amp running 4 infinity 6022i's and a sony xplod 250w amp running the sub is just what the doctor ordered. The gain is almost all the way down on the amp and the built in 80hz low pass filter is on. If you just want to add a little bump to some good music then I really must advise you to go this route.

I am putting the amp where the spare tire is on the back wall next to the battery. All the cables can route through existing holes to the side panel.
