OK, bumps = speakers, now I got it.

Just getting too old to keep up with the lingo these days, but I'll second prod, they look loud for sure.

 

How much did you over pay...I mean pay.....

 

The amp is $1299 and each sub is $599. I got them for far less. knew a guy who needed money. Its a sealed box, im not a huge fan of the loud ported bass. Added a second battery and in the process of dynamatting the entire car.

 

I'll take better pics with my dslr when its all done.

Even half that is over paying. Heck, 1/4 new price is still pretty bad. Sorry you got taken advantage of.

And if you aren't getting voltage drop, there is no need for a second battery. How are you monitoring the amps input voltage? Or are you just guessing that you need a second battery?????

 

I gave him 500 for all of it. I went from a alpine pdx m6 with a boston g512 and got minor headlight dimming. Figured im doubling the power so i might as well reenforce the system and add another battery.

 

You did well..... JL is good gear....
