I'd really like to see the underside and see how the enclosure was made. I am wanting to do a similar thing, just much more simple. much more like your first setup

The box is only about 3" deep but it almost the entire width and depth of the available space. My installer actually called Focal to get the right size make for the most articulate bass, I didn't want booming.

The only thing with the first set up was the wieght and the fact that it carried both amps and sub. Split into two as my new set up is, everything is much more secure and also easier to lift in the event of a flat.
