Cannot buy these items at any big box store .....
Just like everything in my vehicle...

I really do not like to post non HHR vehicles on this forum . But if we needed to go there , then we went . The wiring is neat and precise . The interior was built around the components.
I sense a bit of sarcasm and ridicule in some of the responses ( you know who you are ). I tend not to criticize but rather encourage and make suggestion based on what will be the most cost effective . (IE voltage meters )

So if that sort of behavior is fair game on this site , I may need to put aside my manners for a bit and let it go . But it seems I was raised to have respect for my fellow human being . With that said , I shall move on .
All of team hybrids installs are show car worthy. I guess I expected more from a team hybrids member. (I am assuming that's why you have that picture in your signature)

This is my FIRST install. It's a work in progress.

Much has changed. This is the pac lc-1 location now.

Were you just going for quick and easy in the HHR? Why do you show so much disrespect to the HHR, but other vehicles get a decent install? Do you not think the HHR deserves better?

Also I would try and buy the same brand of rca cables . It adds attention to detail to your work .
Thank you for that suggestion. I will probably go with xscorpion quad shielded RCA's. They look cool with the metal braiding shown and the ends are high quality metal, and you can even unscrew the ends to repair it easily.

Same thing with your power and grounding scheme . Black, Red and Silver ?????
Everything is covered in sleeve and heat shrink now.

Positive is usually suited as the blue line and the silver is ALWAYS negative
Yes, if you want. I'm able to trace 2x2' lines and don't have a problem looking at the amp icons and connecting the wire to the red or black on the battery...I guess some people are unable to trace wires?

Some of your wiring is passed through the amp rack , others are not .
That's because I'm not sure on a placement of everything yet.

In the air vents ??? Need to keep those two items cool ?
A temporary placement.

Cardboard ???? Great for damping and reflective properties I guess ..
Also temporary.

Looking at your cut out for your sub with the red Permanent marker . You do know that you can make a circle jig to mount a router on and make that a precise cut ?
I didn't make this box.

What`s up with the red 2 on the basket ?
Indicating the ohm load...this was an spl sub, not meant for looks.
