OnStar microphone wired to Bluetooth kit

Has anybody hardwired the OnStar microphone to be used in place of the microphone from a Bluetooth kit? I'm not going to use my OnStar anymore. I replaced my head unit so I can't use the BlueStar system (I emailed them). I would think you could pick up the wires at the pin connector for the OnStar unit and go from there.

I switched the head to Alpine 900bt. I used the microphone that they sent, stuck it up there on the edge of headliner, drivers side of rear view mirror. I have not had any questions since about call quality. With the On Star mic, even the onstar folks were asking me to repeat myself, they couldn't hear me. I can even answer the phone with the roof open, it must have noise cancelling, like my jawbone icon, which I don't even carry anymore, I used to break it out to make important calls in the car, so they could hear me. I didn't want another mic to look at, but after using it, I would do it this way every time.

Sorry Larry, how rude of me not to say............
