PAL Personal Audio Link

Hello everybody, I know this topic has come up a bunch of time, but i have a few questions.
1. I have a 2007 HHR LT (no satelite radio), is the only thing i need part #19201522 from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/results...mber=19201522?
2. How hard is it to install, does it require any cutting of wires and crimping?
3. Does anyone have a pdf of the install instructions?
4. For everyone who has it do you recommend it?

If you do not have satellite radio, go to Best Buy and purchase an aftermarket iPod controller. I made the huge mistake of purchasing the PAL from my GM dealer. The dealer I purchased it from refused to return it, so I went to a second dealer after having a myriad of issues. They replaced the PAL with a new one, but I continue to have problems; such as the volume is much lower playing through the PAL, there is a lot of digital noise in the background, it was difficult to install (you have to cut and solder a wire from the main junction block), and I do not know if I can get this one replaced. I wish I never would have purchased it - especially knowing what I know now. Right before I bought this for my car - a friend of mine purchased the aftermarket item from Best Buy. It was easy to install, no wires to cut, etc. The main reason I bought PAL was it was a GM licensed product that would work with the iPod and XM.

I think it was by Periphial(?), I had my PAL on order when a friend I worked with bought a new Impala - that did not have sat radio. He bought that. It was A - a ton cheaper, B - easy as heck to install, and C - not the P I T A, that the PAL has been.
