Pics of my Worlds LOUDEST HHR

It has twelve 12" JBL woofers and 16kw of JBL amps. I'll get some better pictures soon. I'm just testing the photo saving thing today. ...and yes, I realize some woofers are crooked...LOL...they get replaced before every show and not all dustcaps are aligned straight in the factory during reconing.

It depends on the mic used and the calibration of the gear. It normally hits high 160's on the Audio Control but struggles to hit low 160's on the Term Lab.

A few more pics.....

The car is not finished....and is usually not in a listenable condition...haha. But, when it's finished it will be a SQ car as well as a SPL car and demo car. The last shot is the fiberglass amp rack being built for the sub amps. it will have 6 GTO1400.1 amps in the rear and the other amps will be between the seats and woofer wall. The white batteries are actually 5 Optima yellow-tops painted summit white BS/CC and have rushed aluminum bus bars connecting them. The white cloth is just forming fleese for the fiberglass tub that is being built for the rear. The HHR will also have tons of other cool stuff going in between now and mid-summer.

Last pic...then I need to continue packing for vacation. Subtle touchs inside include the slightly reworked pillars for large Focal tweeters and the center channel that replaces the stock centerdash storage. It holds 2 6.5" Focal mids and 2 TN51 tweeters.

160 on the Term Lab? I doubt it with that. With those subs in a sealed box, with only 16K of power, 153-155 at the most.

I would love to be proven otherwise though, I know the HHRs can get loud.

I wanna see a pic of the Term Lab test or results from a competition, pics of the setup are nice though. Good build.

I just want to give everyone a frame of reference of what loud is.

The attached video is of my buddy Randy Kubek. His Ford F-150 has 20) 15" Rockford T1 subs which are their highest end model.
Powered by 10) Rockford BD4000s, so thats 40,000 watts to 20 15s.

His highest score on the termlab has been 157 dB, thats 160 on the Audio Control.
He has cracked his windshield, broken steel bracing on the roof, and severly damaged his doors and handles.
