Play Ipod Touch Music Via Bluetooth

I've just joined the community and would like to wish one and all a Happy Thanksgiving from KS!
As a new HHR owner I wonder whether any forum member could post me a link as to how I can set up my Ipod Touch to connect via Bluetooth (I have only managed to pair it so far) in order to play music through the radio?
Thanks in anticipation of receiving a reply!

Didn't know HHRs had an option for a radio with Bluetooth radio. What year is your HHR?

If it is paired, then you need to connect. Bluetooth is confusing. I think you probably have to go into settings on the iPod and connect to the radio, maybe the other way around.

Anyway, Owner Manuals will really help you. I am sure iPod OMs are available online fom Apple and I know HHR OMs are available on this very site through the SEARCH box.

That is probably the problem, and should be addressed in the OM. There are several different "flavors"/profiles of Bluetooth, not all of them do media.

AH Ha, on page 4-73 of the 2011 Owner Manual it states Cell Phone profile. That means NO media.

I own a 2009 HHR SS has bluetooth also but all it is for is phone calls, if you want to stream music you will have to buy another head unit or find something to add to your system to give you that feature.

In another thread on this subject I quoted from the OM. You are correct, phone profile ONLY. And it is indeed in your Owner Manual.
