Hi All,

I'm about to buy a 2011 2LT with a premium Pioneer stereo in it. I would like to replace the stereo and my question is: Is the head unit just stock, with external amplification and better speakers or is the stereo itself also "premium" ? Also, will replacing the head unit also kill bluetooth ?

Attachment 10724only difference is in the amp and subwoffer (both are POS) Removal of stock head unit will kill Bluetooth. Best thing is to replace amp,subwoofer, and head unit. (get a HU with bluetooth, they are way cool. My unit has BT, connection for my I pod and I have two amps. One for front and rear,one for sub. Check out my gallery for the picks, and where I hid the amps! I'll be glad to answer any questions I can.

 

Thanks for the info. I like the amp placement and may do exactly the same. Also, really like the wheels. Mine is (or will be when I get it) white, and those wheels would look great on it, I think.
