Rear sub

after a month of ownership I just noticed the rear sub. Not much comes out is it just a base reflex or is it blown because it sucks

It is only a shallow 8" sub in a tiny sealed enclosure pushing 80w or so. No comparison to an aftermarket system. I dont know of anyone who has blown one yet, but you can try downloading some test tones, I think something around 100Hz should activate it.

Mine is really not bad at all. It does not live up to the previous subwoofer tubes and amp setups I have had as aftermarket adds but when I crank it the back window is jumping and there is a decent thump to it.

Same here, mine moves the mirrors and I can feel it in the gas pedal..... Not aftermarket, but not bad at all.

I pulled mine out and installed a Kicker shallow mount in the box with some polyfill. I added a 200 watt kicker amp to power just the sub and now my system sounds spectacular to me. The stock amp powers the infintys in the doors.

i was just wondering if anyone has changed the stock speaker.it doesnt sound bad but when your used to having 4 12in woofers in your car its not the same. i dont want to put a box back there because the trunk is small enough already

Yes, I have changed mine out. I put in a Kenwood KFC-XW800F 8" Shallow-Mount Car Subwoofer. I sounds really nice. I also have it amped. It fits in the sub box, but I had to cut out the sub grille that was there and put a different one over it. I will take a pic and post it on here later.

When you get an amp, you need to mount it and do the wiring. Pos and neg from the battery (pos should have a fuse on it), signal wires from the head unit, an amp turn on wire from the fuse panel, and wires to the sub.
I mounted mine in the cargo tray above the spare tire. If you use a smaller amp, its possible to mount it underneath beside the battery.
I think a possibilty for me when I get rid of the huge sub box is to mount an 8" or 10" in the stock location, using either a factory box, or maybe make a custom box to fit in there.
