Removing dash top

I'm trying to mount a radar detector on the driver's side dash top, by attaching it from underneath. How do you lift the dash top? I have removed the storage bin and removed the screw underneath, unscrewed the passenger airbag, removed the screws from under the instrument cluster and center console. It lifts all the way across the front but appears to be caught under the A pillars, and I can't tell what is holding it down. What have I missed?

I believe the A pillar garnish molding needs to be removed.

Silly question, but did you remove the A pillars before trying to get the dash top out?
