Shallow Mount Subs

Has anyone tried or had any experience with any shallow mount subs, like the JL 13TW5 http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_s...hp?page_id=245 or something similar? Would it be possible to fit something like this in the stock enclosure, if the opening was cut to accomidate the diameter of the sub? Other brands have a shallow subs as small as 10".

Those are the subs I want to use for my system but that ideas stalled for now. As for fitting them in the stock enclosure you wouldnt have the right specs for the sub im sure and might be to big of a pain to do. With a little custom work, like a box behind the panels to keep it stock looking, you would get better results.

I had a kicker CVT12 , it hit pretty damn good. I wouldnt put it in the stock box tho everything in the back of your car will rattle. You can get it in the recommended kicker box for like $130
