LMAO! I agree with every one of you but in thier defense these are "Today's" Hotrods. It's really not much different than the junk they were throwing together in the 50's and our cars (depending on your age) never passing the spotted primer phase :) lol I give them some credit for doing what they do :) Building cars on a $5 budget aint easy, especially these days! If you can remember that far back

I hear you but it is to these kids. A 69 Camaro to these kids is just another old car. However a 96 Civic is a real gem! lol Like I said I totally agree with you guys but it is what it is........we are old and they are young. I think thier music sounds stupid too but it's on every damn radio station out thier! lmao Geez I sound like my dad now (I should be so lucky)

I guess it is a sacrifice-you keep what is important (music to some) and eliminate what is unimportant to save weight. True racers dont have radios, speakers, even windshield wipers. Don't forget removing the insulation, carpet, door panals, etc. Everything goes, because the cheapest and easiest way to make ANY car faster is to reduce the weight. Free speed. Plus, the car will also stop better.

LMAO i just remembered one time in my home town of DEL RIo, TEXAS...
me and my bro were cruisin around in the vette when a couple of these lame asses in thier "muscle cars" were revvin thier fart cannon mufflers when they were stopped at a carwash ... so i went back and burned a lil rubber and they didnt even turn around and look.. so thats says alot...

so we decided to grab my moms envoy for a test of sorts....we went back to that carwash and revved the hell out of my moms envoy and they all turned around with these looks on thier faces as to say "who in the bloody hell is revving thier engine and wants to run"

i couldnt stop laughing that night and im laffing reight now too thinking of this LMAO
