My question would be... since some years have different wiring to the switches, does the new steering wheel work un-modded for all years, or would you have to move wires around?

PM replied too.

I HOPE it is the Smaller one, otherwise I just bid on the SAME wheel as I already have in my HHR 2LT. Ebony Leather with both controls.

I had seen posts about a Smaller Cobalt Leather wheel.

I keep mine set as low as it goes and just leave it, because I HATE the tilt wheel colum Chevy used. PITA to use compared to my Astro I had. Or the wifes Chevy Venture.

I guess my question is why/how is it easier to change the whole steering wheel rather than just adding controls?

Either way is pretty easy to swap or add. Do a Search for both.

I HAVE the Leather wheel WITH both sets of controls already, I WANT the wheel that is Smaller in circumference.

Mine had just a generic ebony steering wheel, so my decision was more about "LEATHER-ENVY". And for the cost of the radio buttons at the junkyard (or e-bay) I was able to get the buttons with a leather-steering-wheel-attachment !?!?!

For me, yeah.

Looks like $50.00 is the Excepted offer for these, Someone should try offering $45.00.

I'll find out soon if it is the smaller wheel. Fingers are Crossed.
