Finally got around to putting the Hertz speakers in. I took out the back 2 because they said that if you only do the fronts, and the rears distort, it'll distort the fronts. So I'm running 2 channel in the front (2 mids, 2 tweeters, 1 sub). I will say the tweeters are pretty bright. The mids sound incredible though. Definitely an improvement from the so called "premium" speakers.

Does anyone know what wires are Positive/Negative? I just noticed that when the radio is, volume all the way down, there is a hum coming from the speakers. I don't notice it getting any louder when the volume goes up...Just at low volumes. So i want to make sure I have the right postive/negative wires connected. Anyone Know?

Ive never heard that bout one set distorting the others. But i only run my fronts. The rears if not adjusted right will pull the soundstage to the back.

Does the hum fluctuate with engine speed?
