I got mine from stubbyantenna.com. Mine is the "Y" series black. I use the mid size rod. $12 shipped.

Here's a D.A.Q....(Dum azz question)
Does Onstar use the front antenna? or is it just the radio....not sure if changing to a stubby will affect the other 'features'?
I have an XM antenna on the back end of the roof...I should think onstar uses that one?

Looks like Batman cut his short...did you run into any problems? Still get good reception? I'd be in to trying this...worst case scenario, I spend $15 on an aftermarket one anywho. Speaking of cutting down, reminds me...I still need to cut down my door locks. Stupid knobs!

OnStar uses the rear antenna, it does not share the radio antenna up front.
Got mine from stubbyantenna.com. Bought the shortest, simplest one they had. Black, 3 inches long, a simple flare at the base to match the size of the mount. Radio is crapola, but I don't listen to terrestrial radio (I listen to Sirius satellite or my iPod) ... I was looking for small size and simple appearance, not functionality.
