Sub wiring question

Does anyone know where the wires for the sub should be run. Do they come through the console to the rear area. I don't have the premium sound system and would like to add a BASS600 8" sub.

If you don't have the premium system there is no sub wiring. You'll have to tap your rear speakers if you don't want to switch to an aftermarket head unit.

Thanks for the quick reply, what is was trying to find out is where the wires should be run? Do you know if they can be run thru the center console and then bring them out into the cargo area?

I'd do a search for grounds in the audio section. I seem to remember folks getting a whining in the speakers. They had to re-route the wires.

when I added a sub on my stock radio, I ran the wire front console to right passenger to right rear cargo area. I tapped the rear l-r wires to connect my amp. Amp was grounded in rear cargo next to battery, no whining noise whatsoever.
