We finished our project car for the local dealer and the sub install turned out pretty impressive... check out this thread:

Hope you find it interesting.

thanks

No offensed taken-but why???

Perhaps the bungee/sub hold down? That was just a temporary fix-replaced by something even sillier-. I am searching for the right answer, and will eventually find it.

My attempt here was to have the tube hinged so it would pivot up and make access to the bottom area easier. Sadly, with the tube the long way I cannot fit a take-out pizza box in the back-so the search continues... I am thinking about building a box that is wide and shallow and would fit on top of the PVC, like a 6 inch high shelf with 2 subs in it firing down. I could put things on top or below it. Or a smaller box for just 1 sub that would rest on the window ledge. My brain is flooded with ideas!

Note the new MTX 280 Watt amp :)

Hey, don't knock it. Atleast you are doing your own thing and not following everyone elses ideas. Remember as the billboards say......on the ten thousandth time there was light......

By the way, has anyone here had their sunroof brace break due to the roof flexing? Once I get up to 150 dB, the roof flexes about 1.5" and the sunroof broke. I just fixed it and reinforced it so I dont have that issue anymore. Just want to warn people about it.
