That bottom one probably would have sounded better if the door wasn't smashed in on it

Thats very close to what Im working on, but with slightly newer stuff (Kicker dual 12"). Hopefully mine will look as well finished. Did you replace the stock door speakers as well or just amp them?

Those are extremely good sounding subs. They are great sound quality subs. The install looks good.

Let me start out by saying that I am not a pro. I have mine tuned by my guy, and know nothing about how it is done. But, no stock speakers, even if you have the premium sound package, no stock head unit. And lastly, you can install all the subs you want, but you don't want them to over power the rest. I hate when you hear a car's bass from a mile away but can't make out anything else. Even it all out. Todd (uma)

Whats uneven about it? 2 12's dont overpower the mids if tuned right. Considering the equipment id say his is. You may wanna hear a persons system and ask their listening taste before you pass judgement.

I hear ya, but Im on a tight budget, bought the sub used and the rest on clearance sale. The best I can do for door speakers is Alpine type S. Would have loved Focals or Hertz, but no way I can pay 3x as much for them.
