I learned along time ago. Write your settings down in a notebook. That way you can look back and reset them if you lose power.

Good advise. I usually do, along with the different station presets. The problem I had recently was that I brought my car in for some simple warranty work (nothing electrical) and did not anticipate the dealer disconnecting my battery. But this stupid radio has SO many different settings and variables (10 band eq, slopes, cutoffs for front, rear, and sub), concert simulation in ranges, etc etc etc) that I am always experimenting. I just read about a meter that measures different frequencies and am considering getting one. It is generally used for home audio, but it could be useful in a car.

Nice setup Iceman,

I have one of those kicker subs in the stock location powered by a kicker amp and it booms perfectly for me. I can just imagine that yours will have alot of ooomph!!
