One other thing to note about the Polk MM's is that when I model the Morel 10 and the Polk 8 using the same box and the same wattage (225w) the SPL plots are almost identical. Also worth mentioning is that the 8 actually models +1 db higher below 35hz while the Morel is +1db higher above 38hz so these Polk MM 8's are very close to 10's and the 10's are more in the leagues of 12's. Polk did an awesome job with these subs IMHO.
The only reason that I want to use the Morel 10 at this point is that I will be able to feed it 600 watts and achieve the same SPL (has 95db sens rating) that I am getting right now from the 2 8's in seperate boxes. This will allow me to use one box behind the interior panel and get the SPL I desire. If these 8's handled more wattage I would probably be able to run 1 and get the output that I expect to get with the 10.
