I agree totally, but the customer that is going to be buying this particular car is not likely to be buying a lot of manure.... I hope that wasn't too much of a stereotype.

We just got a call today from the dealer that they sold the Custom HHR already and we are going to be doing a second one for them starting very soon. This one will have video and a smaller audio system. Thanks for all of your interest. I will keep you updated on the next project.

Old Lar, when I read your comments and then saw your Forum name, I was not surprised. A lot of people love their cars and love to customize, myself included, as for the loud music bothering you, didnt you have something that you liked to do that others did not care for ?

 

The dealer decided that we were just going to do video in this one and no audio.... So I ordered a paid of Myron and Davis 7" custom headrests. they are made of the same fabric as the HHR that it is going into... Each screen has a DVD player built into it so that each side can be watching something different. It is self contained... and it comes with headphones....

We will be doing this job next week.... I will take a lot of pictures and post them on our site... It is not a project like last one, but it seems that this dealer might continue this trend so I should have some more interesting stuff to post over the next few months.

Also, I am working on a section of my site where I want to educate customers about various aspects of car audio... Not a class on installing, but something to make people aware of what is possible.... We finally did the Headrest installation for the Car Dealer today.... WOW! The fabric for these was a DEAD ON match. It looked perfect. The screens are sharp and bright and come with everything you would need.
