Wifey Knows Best... lol

I'm a soldier in the US ARMY... I need some good advice... I have a 2006 HHR LT. I want to drop my existing system from my old car into it, but the wife doesn't want me changing out the head unit, she doesn't want me to change out the existing deck because of the way it looks... So, can someone tell me how I can hook up my subs to the stock radio without wiring up a new deck... anything will help....

DrumMech, it has always been my experience with stock systems, even if they do have wiring for subs. Sound isn’t that great without the addition of an amp to boost the sub. With the addition of an amp you are going to get more flexibility and sound quality. You need to visit a local audio dealer to find an amp that is compatible with your existing stock system and the additional wiring needed to reach the amp. Most shops are more then happy to assist you in placement and help you find the parts needed to expand your existing system.

Thanks, Curtis

Maybe this should be posted in the audio section.
