Wiring Diagram
#11
I've been searching long and hard on these forums and still can't find what I'm looking for. I'm wanting to hard wire my aftermarket stereo but can't find the wiring diagram to know what wires need to be connected. I have a 06 LS, no Onstar, no xm radio, just a plain oh single disk cd player. Can anyone help me out with this?

Tooter1; It might be a little late that post is almost a month old!
Good try to save the harness from a chop job.

Chevy Mgr,
I have a question about the wireing diagram(s) I see above. I notieced there is a
11 D-BU 1796 Steering Wheel Control Signal (UK3)
.
Would this be a place where I would see a push of one of the radio steering wheel buttons. (Volume Up?)
Would all the radio steering wheel buttons be on this wire?
How are the signals being passed by resistance differences along this wire?
Reason I as, I have the GMOS-LAN-04. The harness currently doesn't have a wire in the plug at this location, so it isn't passing this information along, but I would like to add an additional wire and use it to pass along the steering wheel buttons presses.
There is a device that can capture this resistance differences when each button is pressed. I would like to use this with my Carputer.
Any suggestions on how I could pick up this signal if the above is not correct? I am trying to not make an cuts / splices in the original wiring harness.

If anyone is wondering where to tap into when installing a line out converter for the Lt hhr with stock pioneer speakers I would recomend using the low level audio signal from either the front 2 speakers or rear 2 speakers.
