XM for $65 a year!

Even better - They tried to upsell me to a "lifetime" subscription. When I asked if it was for the account or the radio in the HHR he admitted it was for that radio. It could not be transfered to another unit. So it is really not lifetime.
I was born at night, but not last night.

I just signed up for a year at the 77 dollar price minus the $12.95 using the code. The thing is the guy insisted the only way to get the price was to sign up for a "renewal" of the promotional price at a standard package. So unless I cancel the service before 1 year from today it will renew at the standard package price. I'm hoping in a year I'll cancel the renewal and then resubscribe for a 1 year discounted price again. Has anyone done something like that yet?

yeah, they want to auto charge you next time. So before it auto renews, you call them up and tell them the promotion you want, either if this one still works or a new one.
Or you use a credit card that will expire before that, so it can't auto renew. Mine would have expired before hand anyways, but then some jacka$$ stole it, so i got a new number anyways...

Still works
I just tried the code yesterday and they took it. My XM had been out for over 6 months, but I just told the rep that I was unsure when they called me last time (never really called) but had rethought about the discounted price that they offered me before. I then told him the winback code and he did it. thanks for posting this info to begin with. Oh yeah I insisted that I was not told that I had to auto renew, so he didn't make me.

They said "Thank you", but, I'm pretty sure they didn't mean it! After attempting phone calls on a few occasions, I thought I would try their internet customer service. It took them over a week to send me back this answer. Their attitude sure has gone sour since they lost their competition!

I keep reading posts on web forum sites about people who are receiving a full year subscription for $77 with an additional $12.95 off the price for using a credit card. These GM owners say that they have received this price in the last few weeks and to mention the promo code "ZWINBACK". I enjoyed XM radio very much, however, with current budget issues, this is the only way that I could consider re-activating.

Oops, almost forgot. I did reply!
You might be able to be of further assistance, if you ever offer any kind of discount that I would qualify for. Radio should be FREE, but I would be willing to pay a reasonable fee. FYI $142.50 for only one year, is NOT reasonable.
Sincerely,
Xxxxxx Moore
