I was wondering if I could do that. I am looking to get a I phone soon since my AT&T deal is up. I thought this would work but was unsure.

I love my XM radio, Now to me HD radio is totally useless. I left regular radio because of all the mindless DJ chatter and constant commercials yelling at you. HD radio is the same thing just supposedly clearer quality?

When my 3mo. free XM acct. is due for renewal I'm going to keep it and upgrade. I'm missing a few channels with this free acct.

My HHR is a daily driver and I log about 40 hrs/mo in regular seat time plus at least 3-4 10/hr+ road trips a year. Just renewed my XM after the freebie was up and I coudn't be happier with what it offers for the price. I'm just not interested in uploading/downloading/sideloading, etc., etc. etc. my own music in the least...just what to get in the car and push a few buttons for music selection and that's it (must be an age group I'm in thing). I also don't think I could ever go back to the vapid, screaming djs, ever increasing non-English programming, ever increasing limited formats and playlists and the never ending commercials-commercials-commercials-commercials that modern broadcast radio has become ever again.

XM Renew

Just renewed for a year at $109. CAD. Great Value at just under 30 cents a day. I spend more than that smoking my first cigarette in the morning.

I know what you mean about the cigarettes As soon as I find a XM receiver I like, I'm gonna get it

My xm ended yesterday. Wife listened to it yesterday coming home from work, and a few hrs later it was off. I liked it on our road trip, but will not be purchasing it. I liked it on our road trip, but w/ only about 2 long roadtrips a year its not worth $15/month to me.

Dont pay $16 a month! Call them up and tell them you will pay $7 per month and they will do it. I think I am paying about $70 per year and that is cheap enough. Well worth that to get rid of the constant commercials screaming at you all day.

I'd love to have XM in my HHR... My radio is equipped for it, but it doesn't have XM....so I'd need the receiver and antenna and everything. Only reason I don't want it is because I don't want the cheesy antenna that comes with the kit. I would rather have it built in my car with the shark fin antenna.

But is it really worth it for one station? I only listen to Alt Nation (XM47)
