XmRadio Discount Codes

Hello,

I've been trying to find a valid XMRADIO Discount code as my free 3 month just ended and i would like to renew.

My dealer gave me this code;
XM-NUYYFDZ3 Which is good for 9.99/mo instead of 14.99.

But I have heard that $77. per year is out in code somewhere.

Thanks

XMSCION03 is a $77 per year promo code, but I think it only works on new activations and gives you another three months. I pay the monthly $12.99 just because I'm waiting for the new alacarte plans to start up.

I believe the FCC just cleared the way for Sirius and XM to merge. Not sure if it will happen or any news about it, but now might be a good time to get in for a year or more contract since I assume it will go up in price when there's only one super-satellite radio option.

i believe i read that one limitation the FCC placed on the merger is they are not allowed to raise prices for like 3 or 5 years (don't remember which). the only thing they can do that will cost more is if you want a plan that has like everything that both Sirius and XM offer, then it will cost more than just having one of them right now.

I've been paying $12.99/mo since April...worth every penny.
as I tune in FM/AM radio, all I hear is commercials.

Cant help ya, but if I find something, I'll post it.

FWIW, when I bought my 06 used, the XM already worked. I wasnt sure if that was because the previous owner pre-paid/forgot to cancel, or if the dealer already set it up with the 3 mo. FREE deal...and I was afraid to call and ask/set up my own account, so I let it go for 3 months.

Just prior to the 3 months, I called XM to tell them "my 3 months trial is about to expire"...they said "you dont have a 3 month trial...you're prepaid until June"....turns out, the previous owner had pre-paid, and didnt cancel.

The good news is/was...they waived the 'activation fee' since technically, it was already activated...they gave me 1 month free, thanked me for being honest and set me up monthly.

how is that when i tune in to my XM i constantly here commericals. clean my gutters here, go to branson there, adult websites here, dental work there.

that's my major problem that everyone says it's commerical free and i hear them constantly.

that and all the time it fizzles out on me, like near a one story building, out it goes. in an open area, out it goes. ticks me off.

I never heard anything about adult websites or Branson (ugh), but there's actually very few commercial-supported channels on XM. In fact, only the talk, news channels, and a few premium music channels have commercials. The talk and news channels air commercials whenever the show they're broadcasting takes a commercial break anyway.

Also, any satellite radio service will fizzle next to a building unless there's a terrestrial repeater in the area. Just like GPS, except there's fewer satellites to support the network. That's why the merger is so important to bring more transmitter capacity online for everyone.

I would have been happier if the FCC had just mandated universal transmitter support and opened up the satellites rather than having the merger. Prices WILL go up in the long run, it's a matter of time and politics.

What stations are you listening to? I use to have XM and don't remember any commercials? All stations are not commercial free, news, comedy, sports all have commercials but the music stations don't have any commercials, unless you call a DJ talking a commercial? The DJ's talk for maybe 15 sec between songs (not every song) where on AM/FM they give you their life story and toss in a commercial or two with it. Satellite radio is awsome (I have SIRIUS now) and regular AM/FM blows! Just my 2 cents

The only channel I hear the adult commercials is 150 which is the ADULT comedy channel, and they aren't any worse then the Viagra and KY commercials on TV. I don't hear them on any of the other channels except the news channels (FOX, CNN, MSNBC).

The vast majority of the music channels do not have any commercials.

I only lose my signal when I go through a tunnel near my work.
