yeah the adult commercials were on an an XL comedy channel. i could care less if i hear adult commercials, it's the problem that i hear commercials in general.

but i seriously hear commercials on almost every channel I listen to. the ones i listen to most are the one in the hits channel, so the top 20 hits, xm hitlist, upop (hate that this channel is all cold play all the time so haven't listened to that in awhile), and all the other ones in that area. Along with the decade's channels 40's, 50's 70's 80's 90' and a bunch of other ones.

I flip around a lot, but i hear at least one commercial every time i'm in the car. They are so nice to display their phone number or web address right up on the radio for me too. But i know i've heard one for branson, dental work, and for getting my gutters fixed.

I'll have to start keeping track. Often though as soon as i hear a commercial i flip the channel, so it will be hard to resist that urge.

the commercials are seriously what i hate about XM though.

There's a whopping FIVE music channels that have commercials! Nashville Today's Country, KISS Top 40, MIX Adult/Various, Sunny Soft Pop Oldies, and WSIX Nashville.

69 of XM's other music channels are completely commercial free.

I've had XM in my cars since I bought my '05 Impala (new). I absolutely love it!!! I still listen to my local stations every once in a while, but 95% of the time, it's XM.

You could always find a couple buddies with XM's and get the family plan. First radio is 12.99 per month or 9.99 if you pay for 3 years and then the other radios are 6.99 per month. Just figure out a simple way of say paying the buddy 7.99 per month and the other guy the same. This brings his down to 7.99 too. Of course I woulndn't tell XM what you are doing.

My XM ran out of trial period a few days ago
Not happy , cuz i got used to it. Working on the wife to green light turning it back on ("You lived without it b4" )
I work w/ a guy who's kid got a H3 (and the trial ran out recently) and i heard XM has been hounding the kid to re-up the XM. I thought i heard him say they promised the kid $5-something a month ,after hounding him for a while.
Mebbe it was short term or something, dunno. Will get details tomorrow when i see the dad.
(Also gonna give the kid the part# for spotters mirrors, and see what his Chev dealership employee discount will get the price down to )

I just registered my XMRadio online, as my 90 trial had just expired.

Upon creating an account on xmradio.ca, i navigated over to a link that said "Click here if you're 90 trial just expired".

So I did, and one of the options was 'Your First Year $64. CAD'

Sa-weeeet.

Good to go for a year at a discount, but will be sure to cancel before the year is over so my credit card will not be billed for a new year, at FULL PRICE.
