Airbag suspension systems

Does anyone have any suggestions for good air suspension systems to replace the stock setup? I'm looking for one that will allow for good handling, as well as compliant and comfortable ride.

Oh, not to mention the ability to dump the bags and achieve a slammed stance while parked.

Thoughts?

You may want to check out the Airlift suspension systems. I have been using them for a short time now and they are working great.

Many companies don’t know there was a 2011 HHR they think the build ended for the 2010 model year.

Found it!!

If that doesn't work out, add air shocks & on board compressor,. I did this on last S-10, tiny compressor, easily hidden, & button & gauge, I fitted in the ashtray. Easy access to go up or down & know the psi.

It was a kit (minus air shocks) from JC Whitney, low price, but worked flawlessly. I would load a bike with aired down & once loaded, hit the button & up it goes, & away I went.. ..

Could you post photo, sleeper, where you mounted the compressor and air tank, and the solenoids and valves for the air controls

Pictures

I will try and post some pictures for you tomorrow
but simply put the compressor and tank directly behind my drivers seat! The valves for my horn is at the trumpet horn which is wired to the factory horn wires so it works with the steering wheel! I did add a on/off switch so if I get any air leaks it doesn’t continue to run and kill my battery

Blue- That was almost 20 years ago.. There was no need for air tank or any other stuff for an air shock application. Very simple deal, which worked flawlessly. Just a mini-compressor behind the seat.

So, you adjusted ride height with a schrader valve? Nice and simple

No, the kit had a air up & down button. That I put in the ashtray with a PSI gauge. Simple deal.
