Almost perfect handling

After four days of hard testing on one of my favorite tight, twisty, Nor-Cal back roads, I've finally got the Pedders coilovers, and the Hankook 255/40/18 sticky tires, dialed in for some serious handling. With the coilovers, TTR mount, Powell "Hardcore" rear bar, and the big sticky tires, the SS now has some fangs.Thing is a frigging animal with the handling and traction I have now, and a real hoot to drive. Getting it ready for the Goodguys autocross next weekend[if it don't rain]. Get some slight wheelspin at the hit and 1st gear, and no wheelspind in 2nd. Just a low howl from the tires, and it hooks and goes. before with Pedders springs and OE tires, it would light the tires hard in 1st, and half way through 2nd, and even in the turns. No more. Turn in, rotation, and corner exit, is double throw down bada--, and handling is on part with my former Archer Bros. Racing, 4WD Eagle Talon[which was a clone to their race cars] that I drove on the street.
The handling and traction is just what I'd been looking for, and even better than I expected. Puts the power down big time.
I'm now bringing a load to the autocross, next time. hope the weather permits. "Moon"
P.S. Even got a sore neck from all this play time.
