brake problems

People who are experiencing rotor trouble need to inform their dealer of the TSB that GM has on this problem.
This TSB has been out since about spring and revised EIGHT times. It is TSB # 00-05-22-002G, dated 8/8/06 (for some reason this TSB is not showing up in AllData).
GM has discovered that dealers, for some reason, are not following the procedures established in that TSB.
If you have had continual rotor problems and returned to the dealer for "cutting", GM is probably telling the dealer they did not follow procedure, so it is at dealers expense to repair. That may be why the dealers are saying can't do anything.
Last paragraph is my opinion...the rest is factual.

No, I cannot link it.
However, if the Administrator of this forum approves, I may be able to copy and post the information. It is extensive..probably about 11 pages
Edit.....Disregard....I'm not able to copy and print either. But, I have just noticed that there is an update to the TSB I gave you. It is now the same number but with an "H" at the end.

Brake pads and rotors normally aren't covered by warranty, unless there are issues with premature pad wear or rotor issues that show up within a certain amount of time. Once you go past a certain mileage value they won't do it anymore.
