Can this be confirmed

I have found some part numbers matching the cobalt ebach pro kit matching the HHr ebach pro kit?

Also the rear sway bars matching?

can you confirm this?

right so then that should mean we could buy any springs designed for the cobalt and use them on our HHR in theory..........

I would be concerned about the weight difference.

Yes they should fit no problem, but as applenut said the weight might be a deciding factor. I say go for it and test them out for the rest of us.

Its kind of like going back to the late 60's, camaro parts worked on the nova, but you never heard of anyone going the oppisite direction.

explain on the weight difference? if they are using the same springs for us and them and this is a company that is very respected ebach then what is the difference in the springs? why i am saying this is because the fact if you go to the cobalt supporting vendors or ebay you can get them way cheaper some ebachs for about 200

I meant the weight of the HHR vs. the Cobalt

Your a bit behind on this. Over a year ago Eibach released their "HHR" spring kit, which was discovered to be nothing more than their Cobalt kit "rebranded" with a different number. Those who bought and installed this kit found out quickly that the rear end sagged and was poorly controlled at speed on the highway and around town over bumps. (*The HHR has much more rear weight bias than the Cobalt.)

The absolute best handling kit you can buy right now is the new Gold-Line kit that is being released this next week. I have had the prototype on my ride since November and it is purely sweet. Sits about 1-in higher than the original Gold-Lines, but the ride is spot on. You can hammer the dips, throw it around corners, and it takes it all in stride. Of course adding the Progress Sway Bar makes a world of difference also.

Do some searching on old threads - there is lots of information about the Eibachs out there if you look for it. Why do you think we don't sell them - since they are only 20-minutes from us? Because they aren't right for the car...
