Cobalt SS SC front springs

I added 17" wheels to my LT last night and I am a bit disappointed with how much wheel gap I have especially in the front. I have a set of Front Cobalt SS SC springs, (I installed the rear ones to level it out) does anyone know how much of a drop I would get by installing these front Cobalt SS springs? Is it even worth the effort or am I better off just buying a full set and just dropping it? Any information would be much appreciated. Thanks

I installed the cobalt SS springs too, first the rear, then the fronts a couple months later.
The front cobalt springs will not lower at all, in fact it might appear to be a bit higher than the rears. Ill see if I can dig up some pics.
They are now my winter suspension, I put on Canuck Motorsport springs for the summer.
EDIT: I think this pic is the full set of cobalt SS springs:

My fornt end on an 07 LS dropped only 1/4" with the SS/SC springs and the rear dropped 1-1/8". I went with H&R. Front dropped 1-1/4" rear 1-1/2".
I'm planning on selling the SS/SC springs and will put them up soon.

Well, call me cheap but I just ordered a set of the Canuck Motorsports springs on ebay. I read and looked at the posts here on the forum and the few owners of these springs seem to be happy with them. I hope they get here soon so I can get rid of some of this wheel gap.

Well the Canuck's are installed. They seem like a good quality product but if you looking for a level HHR don't buy these. The rear end is higher than the front, similar to what the stock springs were only lower.

Sorry man, if you had said you were thinking of the CM springs I woulda told ya that. Mine did settle a tiny bit more though over the summer.
If you want it more level, you can put on the rear cobalt SS springs.

According to what Pedders is saying, the higher rear makes for better handling (re: balanced)...alllows better weigt transfers...more or less when your in the power the car levels out

With the Pedders you keep the rake but the car does sit much lower. I've pics in my gallery and made a thread on it too.

I noticed this when I had the ss/sc springs. The turns seem a bit crisper with the CM springs I have now, which are a little higher in the rear like the pedders.
